Super long sweep second hand: 10" from mounting to tip, 16-1/8" total length.  There are only two movements we recommend this hand be used on: Our 312CHT continuous sweep high torque movement is the best movement on the market. It can run quartz hands up to 17-1/2" long plus this second hand. Our swim pace movement # 100450 can run this hand plus a minute hand up to 17-1/2" long but we don't recommend using an hour hand with that setup. This hand will not work properly on any high torque movement that has a "stepping" second hand motion.  If you have questions please call or send us an email.

I needed a long red second hand which this is. I really needed an 8" hand and I figured I could cut this one down. However this one is just to massive and would not look nice even in the large clock with long black hour and minute hands. So I used a shorter more delicate second hand.
